At Alamein FC, we're more than just a football club.

We’re a community of passionate players, families, volunteers and coaches who believe that sport, especially women’s sport, has the power to build strong, confident people and connect us to something bigger.

From skill-development clinics to inclusive campaigns and local partnerships, we’re proud to support initiatives that reflect our values of unity, integrity and passion. Whether we're mentoring future players, celebrating diverse voices, or just showing up for our local community at Ashburton, every initiative we take on is a reflection of our “good human” philosophy.

Throughout the year, we take part in local events and national awareness weeks that uplift women and girls in sport, strengthen our connection to community, and help every player feel seen, supported, and inspired.

Girls Deserve More

Too often, girls in football are treated as an afterthought: training on the sidelines, using second-rate equipment, or playing without recognition. It’s a quiet inequality many families notice, but don’t always know how to change. At Alamein FC, we do things differently.

As an all-female club, we put girls first in everything we do: equal access to facilities, high-quality coaching, clear development pathways, and a culture that celebrates every team. Here, female players are never an add-on. They are the focus.

    ACCESS

    We believe that talent should never be limited by postcode or price tag. Alamein is actively exploring ways to reduce barriers for families, including travel support and inclusive entry points through our Development Squads.

    Our goal is to create a pathway where girls from all backgrounds feel welcome and supported to grow. From shared boots to shared opportunities, we’re committed to keeping the game open to every girl who loves it.

    At Alamein, we champion more than just football: we champion girls.

    Through player-led leadership groups, community partnerships, and conversations that matter, we aim to give young women a voice in shaping the future of the game.

    We speak up for fairness, visibility, and equity in sport, and invite others to do the same. Our players are growing into leaders both on and off the pitch.
