This squad represents the highest level of our player pathway and sets the benchmark for professionalism, performance and club culture. A calm and reliable presence between the posts, Olivia brings experience and composure to Alamein’s defensive line. A product of the elite NTC pathway, she has accumulated more than 50 senior league appearances across her career and continues to be a steady performer at NPLW level. Her shot-stopping ability, communication, and leadership from the back were highlighted throughout the 2025 season, where she recorded multiple clean sheets for the club. Olivia plays an important role in setting the defensive structure and standards for the team.
Your skipper returns! Estelle Bougias continues as captain of our Senior NPLW side after being promoted from our U19s a few years ago. A combative and skilful defender, Estelle has been a pivotal player for Alamein FC with over 50 senior league appearances. A true example of our club values - Passion, Unity and Integrity - we are thrilled to see Estelle lace up the boots and pop on the armband down at Dorothy Laver again this season!
Chinatsu Shidara returns to Dorothy Laver for season 2026. Entering her third season with Alamein, Chinatsu has global experience in Japan, France, Croatia, and more recently Australia. She is a key member of our senior squad as well as a member of our leadership group. A strong central defender with a great understanding of the game, Chinatsu compliments her playing with the role as a specialist coach in our junior program.
Since joining Alamein, Anna has become an important part of the team’s structure through her versatility, competitiveness, and composure on the ball. Able to play across midfield and defence, she brings consistency and intensity to every match and training session. With experience through the NTC pathway and Melbourne Victory’s Elite Girls Program, Anna combines strong technical ability with a determined, team-first approach. Her work rate, defensive discipline, and willingness to drive the team forward have made her a trusted presence within the squad over multiple seasons.
New Zealand defender Jess Shilton enters her second season with Alamein after joining the club ahead of the 2025 NPLW campaign. A centre-back by trade, she brings composure and defensive structure to the back line. Jess previously competed in New Zealand’s national league system before making the move to Melbourne. Since arriving at Alamein, she has become a reliable defensive option and an important part of the squad across multiple seasons.
DAK IS BACK! Dakota signs on at Alamein FC for 2026! After a strong first year at the club, Dakota established herself as an important player in John Kyrgios’ midfield. A tidy and consistent midfielder, Dakota is ready to take another big step in 2026 after an immense off season under her belt!
Savanna Anastasopoulos returns to Dorothy Laver! Part of our leadership group, she is an exceptional player and a wonderful member of our senior squad. With a creative brand of football, and a tenacious ferocity in the press, we look forward to what she can bring in 2026.
Neve Duston is back at Dorothy Laver! Our American in Midfield, Neve is superstar on and off the pitch. With a significant influence across our junior program and the coach of our Under 14’s academy squad, Neve is ready to show us once more what she can do on the pitch. Known to strike the ball from distance, her highlight reel from last season was beyond impressive. Make sure you don’t miss out on anymore highlights for 2026.
American attacker Summer Laskey joins Alamein in 2026 following a strong collegiate career at Long Beach State in the NCAA Division I system and a successful season in New Zealand’s Women’s National League with Wellington United. An attacking midfielder and forward, Summer brings pace and directness to Alamein’s front line. She arrives at the club after scoring regularly at national-league level in New Zealand, where she finished among the competition’s leading goalscorers. Her speed and attacking instincts add a new dimension to the squad this season.
We welcome Emma Runnalls back to Dorothy Laver for the 2026 NPLW Season As Vice-captain of the squad, Emma will show her experience and quality up-front and through the midfield, providing a focal point for our attacking play.
Our speedster in attack is back to cause headaches for opposition defences in 2026! With an exceptional pressing ability, and blistering runs in behind, Zoe was our top scorer last year with 8 goals. An exceptional role model for our younger players, Zoe is in for a big 2026 season!
Jordyn joins Alamein after playing across women’s football competitions in both New South Wales and Victoria. An attacking player with a history of contributing goals at multiple levels, she brings experience from state-league and community football environments. Having previously played with clubs including Ashburton United and Richmond Central, Jordyn adds energy and attacking intent to the squad this season.
Anais joins Alamein with several seasons of NPLW experience across clubs including Box Hill United, Boroondara-Carey Eagles, and FC Bulleen Lions. An attacking winger and forward, she is known for her pace and ability to create chances from wide areas. Across her NPLW career, Anais has consistently contributed goals and attacking energy, bringing experience and directness to Alamein’s front line this season.
A long-standing member of the Alamein senior squad, Matilda brings consistency and reliability to the team’s defensive group. Having spent multiple seasons at the club, she understands the standards and culture that define Alamein football. Matilda’s steady presence on and off the pitch, alongside twin sister Harriet in the squad, reflects the strong sense of connection and continuity within the playing group.
Priya returns to the senior squad in 2026 after a strong season with Alamein last year, where she scored five goals. One of the younger players in the group, she brings maturity, speed, and focus on the ball to the squad. The club looks forward to seeing her continue to make an impact at senior level this season.
Mila joined Alamein as an Under 12 player and now steps into the senior squad as one of the club’s most exciting pathway success stories. Progressing through the junior and NPL programs, she has grown into the senior environment while still one of the youngest players in the group. The club was thrilled to celebrate Mila’s first senior goal in a pre-season friendly this year, and looks forward to seeing her continue to develop and contribute at NPLW level.
Setarah has progressed through Alamein’s pathway and now continues as part of the senior squad after several seasons connected to the club’s NPL program. An attacking player, she brings energy and commitment to the team environment. Her journey through the club reflects the strong connection between Alamein’s development pathway and senior program.
Harriet Lohrey returns to DLWR for another season! Harriet is a strong defender with a knack for getting forward late in games. A much loved character in the dressing room, we are very excited to have ‘H’ on board for the 2026 season!
Australian goalkeeper Miranda Templeman returns to Alamein with professional A-League Women experience at Adelaide United, Melbourne Victory, and Perth Glory. Originally from Western Australia, she progressed through the NTC pathway and represented Australia at youth international level. A former NPL WA Goalkeeper of the Year, Miranda brings composure, shot-stopping ability, and leadership from the back to the squad.
Kate Bean brings focus, resilience, and strong team commitment to Alamein’s goalkeeping group. A dependable presence within the squad, she contributes to the competitive environment that underpins the team’s performances.
Ginger Cain joins Alamein in 2026 after playing in Western Australia’s NPLW competition with Fremantle City. An attacking player, she arrives with senior-level experience and a strong team focus. Since joining the squad, Ginger has brought energy and positivity to the group, contributing to the team environment both on and off the pitch.
