Media & Photography at Alamein FC

Alamein FC is proud to work with a small team of talented volunteer photographers who generously capture our players, match days, and the spirit of our all-female club. Their work allows us to share the stories of our athletes, celebrate their achievements, and promote pathways for women and girls in football.

We thank them for their ongoing contribution to the club and ask that all images taken by our photographers are credited correctly when shared.

“I began my photographic journey capturing my daughter’s sporting teams, and by 2006 I had expanded into action photography within the Victorian Women’s Premier League (WPL). At that time, coverage of the competition was limited, which gave me the opportunity to establish myself in the field.

“With the league’s evolution into the National Premier League Women’s (NPLW), media attention has grown, yet my focus remains on documenting the intensity and spirit of women’s football. Over the years, I have broadened my scope to include other sports, such as Australian Rules football, while continuing to support teams with which I have volunteered.

“My work is driven by the pursuit of the perfect action shot—an image that is technically precise, creatively composed, and captures a rare, defining moment in an athlete’s performance.”

  • Freelance Photographer

Kim Dumayne is a freelance photographer specialising in atmospheric still life and portraiture.

His unique vision and attention to detail, colour and composition produces thought-provoking imagery that brings his subjects to life.

A versatile photographer, he is at home both in a studio or out on location having previously shot events, architectural, sports and street photography.

For Kim, the greatest gift a photograph can offer is when it resonates with emotion and tells a story, a thread he believes is common to all genres of photography.

Kim, his partner and their two daughters are based in Bayside, Melbourne, a stone's throw from the beach and great coffee.

Sports media pathways: creative interns

Alamein FC is committed to developing pathways not only for players, but for emerging creatives who want experience in sports media, digital content, and community engagement. For 2026 we are offering seasonal internship positions that provide hands-on involvement across the club’s operations.

Our interns work alongside our photographers and media volunteers to help share the story of women’s football, elevate the match-day experience, and strengthen the connection between our players, families and community.

These seasonal roles form an important pathway for young creatives seeking experience in a professional football environment. We’re proud to recognise our interns for their contribution throughout the season and will share updates and link to their important work as the season progresses.

Content Creator Intern — Alexia Crespin

Alexia captures the energy of match day through fan interactions, on-ground activations and community storytelling. She supports Alamein’s digital storytelling through photography, video and creative content across our social channels.

Match Day & Fan Engagement Intern — Tom Saunders

Tom helps deliver an outstanding match-day experience through fan engagement, on-ground activations, and community storytelling.

If you are interested in interning with Alamein FC, we’d love to hear. View our internship opportunities here, then contact our Vice President Naomi Bulger via email with your interest.
