Current Roles

Nothing that suits you right now?

We’re always open to hearing from passionate people and good humans who want to support elite women’s football. If you’d like to join our volunteer, media, or operations teams you can submit an expression of interest here.

Diversity & Inclusion

Alamein FC is an inclusive, values-driven club. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, genders, ages and experience levels. If you support female football and embody our values of passion, unity and integrity, we’d love to hear from you.

The Alamein FC Internship Program

Our internship program is designed to give emerging creatives and sport-minded students real ownership, real access and real development inside a high-performance women’s football environment. Created to support the next generation of content creators and sport professionals, the program offers structured learning, meaningful responsibilities and practical experience rarely available outside A-League clubs.

We are a welcoming, inclusive community, and every internship is delivered within our Child Safeguarding framework to ensure a safe, respectful and positive learning experience.

What our internships offer

  • Substantive, hands-on experience in content creation, social media, match-day delivery and fan engagement

  • Ownership of a recurring project or series, credited to the intern and included in their professional portfolio

  • Behind-the-scenes access to training sessions, match-day zones, players, coaches and selected club operations

  • Structured mentorship and feedback, including regular creative or performance review sessions

  • Portfolio-building support, including mid-season check-ins, end-of-season portfolio curation and a formal reference letter

  • Public recognition, such as your name listed on the club website and credit on major projects you lead

  • Flexible hours arranged around university, TAFE or work schedules, with consideration for exams and busy periods

  • A values-driven culture, grounded in unity, integrity, passion and respect

Interns are never assigned menial tasks or used as general volunteers. You won’t be asked to do the coffee run! Every project contributes directly to the club’s digital identity, match-day atmosphere or storytelling.

All internships are unpaid and voluntary, designed as structured learning experiences rather than employment.

Who our internships suit

Our internships are ideal for:

  • University or TAFE students studying media, communications, journalism, design, film, sport management or related fields

  • Early-career creatives building a portfolio in video, storytelling, fan engagement or digital content

  • People who are passionate about women’s sport and want meaningful, inside-club experience

  • Reliable, self-motivated individuals comfortable working evenings and weekends during the season

All interns must hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check (volunteer) and complete mandatory Child Safeguarding training during onboarding.
