Alamein Angels are a very special group of individuals and businesses who donate $300 or more to our annual Alamein Angel campaign.
Alamein Angels are how we are transforming our excellent club into something truly outstanding, and setting a new standard for supporting and developing female athletes.

Outcomes: 2025 Campaign
In 2025, Alamein FC launched its first Alamein Angels fundraising campaign, and our community gave incredibly generously. The money donated during that campaign was used to bring the following benefits to our players:
1. New Metal Pop Up Goals
We purchased 8 new metal pop up goals that enhance the quality of our regular training sessions. These goals give coaches so much more flexibility than they had before.
2. Chinatsu Shidara - First Ever Specialist Coach
Every one of our VYPLG players now receives a minimum of 3-4 individual or small-group coaching sessions (30 mins each) to address specific technical areas relevant to their development, above and beyond the specialist attention received at a whole-team level.
3. 170x New AFC Branded bibs
The new bibs are much lighter than our previous bibs, with the professional look of our logo printed onto each one.
4. Strength and Conditioning Equipment
We have a new set of 60+ resistance bands, developing our Strength and Conditioning program. These are also often used when the grounds are too wet to be used and teams need to complete indoor sessions.
5. Alternative Facility Access
When our home ground Dorothy Laver is out of action due to rain, we are far more easily able to secure alternative venues with dedicated funds than we have been in previous years.
How we value our Angels
When you donate to the Alamein Angels Campaign, you become part of something bigger than yourself: a circle of supporters whose names, stories and generosity will be woven into the very fabric of our club. So it’s important to us that every individual who gives to Alamein FC in this way not only knows how their generosity is directly benefiting female players, but also that they know how much they are appreciated and valued by the entire Alamein community.
To honour your generosity in donating to Alamein and its players, we will actively look for ways to give back to you. These include:
All Alamein Angels
Tax-deductible giving: every donation to the Alamein Angels campaign is made through the Australian Sports Foundation, which means your gift is fully tax deductible. You’ll be helping yourself at the same time that you are helping our girls.
Your name on the kit stripe: in football, the stripe is a marker of identity and pride. By placing your name in the stripe of Alamein FC’s home and away kits, you become part of every match-day. Each time our players step onto the pitch, they will be carrying the names of the people who believe in them most.
Invitation to the Alamein Angels Match: during the season, we will host a special match-day in honour of our Angels, and you will be invited to join us for a luncheon where we will celebrate your support, unveil the names in the kit stripe, share dedications, and give you an inside look at the impact your generosity has made possible. It will be a day of football, friendship, and gratitude.
Opportunity to dedicate your gift: you can choose to show your support for our players in your own name, or dedicate your Alamein Angel recognition to a daughter, granddaughter, family member or friend. All dedications will be honoured at the Angel’s Match, where they will be displayed and celebrated, and on our website for the wider community to see.
Recognition on our website: Alamein Angels’ names (or dedications) will be proudly displayed on our club website, making your support visible to the broader community throughout the year.
Alamein Angels: Club 500
For those who choose to give $500 or more to this campaign, we want to celebrate their generosity with an extra level of recognition and connection:
A certificate of recognition, signed by our Club President and Vice President, presented at the Angel’s Match & Luncheon.
A special enamel Angel pin, created exclusively for Club 500 donors, as a lasting keepsake of your support.
A handwritten thank-you card from one of our senior players with a personal message of gratitude that links your generosity directly to the young women you are helping to succeed.
