We invest in female coaches
Great players don't develop by accident. They are shaped by coaches who challenge them, encourage them, build their confidence and help them discover what they are capable of.
At Alamein FC, we believe great coaches deserve the same opportunity to grow.
That's why we are investing in the women who coach our girls. By supporting their ongoing education, leadership and development, we are strengthening not only the experience of today's players, but the future of girls' football itself.
Great players need great coaches
Every footballer remembers a coach who made a difference.
Sometimes it was the coach who taught them a new skill. Sometimes it was the one who believed in them when they didn't believe in themselves. Sometimes it was simply the person who made training the best part of their week.
Like every profession, great coaching is a journey of continual learning. The best coaches never stop developing, and investing in their growth is one of the most powerful investments any club can make in its players.
WHY WE NEED FEMALE COACHESAlamein is proud to have a coaching group made up of both women and men, each bringing their own experience, knowledge and strengths to our players.
We also believe there is something uniquely powerful about girls seeing women in coaching and leadership roles.
When young players are coached by women who have walked the same path before them, leadership becomes something familiar. They don't simply imagine that women belong in football, they grow up expecting it. That's why we're investing in female coaches: not because they replace great male coaches, but because they add something equally valuable to the experience of girls in football.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create an environment where female coaches can learn, grow and thrive.
Through education, mentoring, practical experience and leadership opportunities, we want Alamein to become a place where women don't just coach football. They build rewarding coaching careers, inspire the next generation of girls and help shape the future of the game.
How we’ll get there
Creating more opportunities for female coaches takes more than good intentions. It requires investment, support and a commitment to continual learning.
Through the Alamein Coach Education Fund, we will invest in four key areas:
Qualifications
Supporting female coaches to access formal coaching accreditation and professional development.
Leadership
Creating meaningful opportunities for female coaches to lead programs, develop new initiatives and gain practical experience.
Mentoring
Connecting coaches with experienced mentors, guest speakers and ongoing education opportunities.
Growth
Building a coaching environment where women are supported to continue learning, developing and sharing their knowledge throughout their coaching journey.
Why philanthropy?
Alamein FC is a not-for-profit football club. All of our operations are funded through player fees, sponsorship and the generosity of our volunteers. Those funds are invested directly back into our players and the football programs they enjoy every week.
Rather than taking resources away from those programs, we have chosen to build our female coaching pathway through philanthropy.
Every donation to the Alamein Coach Education Fund represents new investment in our club. It allows us to create opportunities that simply wouldn't otherwise exist, while ensuring our players continue to benefit from the strong programs they already have.
The Women Who Change the Game
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to establish the Alamein Coach Education Fund. Donations are tax-deductible.
Imagine an Alamein FC where every girl grows up surrounded by outstanding female coaches.
Where experienced players can transition naturally into coaching and leadership.
Where women are supported to continue learning throughout their coaching careers.
Where other clubs look to Alamein as a model for developing female coaches.
That's the future we're working towards.
We'd love you to help us build it.
