Estelle Bougias returns as captain of Alamein's Senior NPLW squad for 2027, following an outstanding 2026 season in which she finished third in the NPLW Victoria Best & Fairest and shared Alamein's Senior Best & Fairest award.
A strong and technically capable defender, Estelle joined Alamein's U19 program in 2021 before progressing into the Senior squad. She established herself as a regular at NPLW level and was appointed captain ahead of the 2025 season.
Now entering her third season as captain, Estelle has become an influential figure both on and off the pitch. She is actively involved in Alamein's Buddy Program, supporting and mentoring younger players, and regularly attends junior matches.
Her progression from junior football to Senior captain, together with her performances at NPLW level, reflects both her individual development and her longstanding contribution to Alamein.
