Alamein girls crowned Junior Nike FC Cup champions

A mixed team of Alamein Under 13 and Under 15 NPLW players, together with players from our Under 15 Development team, took part in the Junior Nike FC Cup this week.

We’re proud to announce that our girls went undefeated through the group stage, and finished the tournament with a tight 1–0 win in the final, bringing the trophy home to Alamein.

One club, one team

What makes this result especially pleasing is the way players from different squads came together. NPL and Development players worked side by side, showing that while our girls train in different programs, they all share the same badge and the same team spirit.

Of course winning feels good, but for us the real highlight was seeing the players step up under pressure, work for each other and enjoy their football. Tournaments like this give our girls a chance to measure themselves against strong opposition, to learn from the experience, and to walk away a little more confident in what they can do together.

For our younger players, this is a reminder of what’s possible when you put in the effort. For the club as a whole, it’s another step forward in building an environment where girls can compete, grow and belong.
