American midfielder Neve Duston returns to Alamein for her third NPLW season in 2027, following an outstanding 2026 campaign that established her among the competition's leading players.
Neve was named Football Victoria's NPLW Player of the Month for May, earned selection in the 2026 NPLW Victoria Team of the Season and finished among the top ten in voting for the NPLW Media Player of the Year. She also shared Alamein's Senior Best & Fairest award with captain Estelle Bougias.
Neve joined Alamein in 2025 following an accomplished collegiate career at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where she started all 94 matches and earned multiple All-Region and All-Conference honours.
A technically accomplished midfielder with a powerful long-range shot, Neve is also a member of Alamein's Senior leadership group and plays an important role in the club's junior development program.
After coaching Alamein's U14 Academy team in 2026, she will step up to lead the U13 NPL squad in 2027. She is currently working towards her Football Australia C Licence, continuing to develop her coaching career alongside her playing commitments.
