Ally Nedelkovski appointed U11 Academy Head Coach for 2027
Alamein FC has appointed current U20 player Alessandra (Ally) Nedelkovski as Head Coach of the club’s U11 Academy team for the 2027 season.
Nedelkovski steps into the role after five years as an Alamein player, with the 2027 season marking the beginning of her coaching journey at the club.
Having played football for nine years, including five within the NPL system, Nedelkovski currently competes in Alamein’s U20 NPLW squad and brings to the role the perspective of a young player who has developed within the club herself.
From player to coach
Nedelkovski has already begun gaining experience on the other side of the touchline, previously assisting coaching with an U11 team at South Melbourne.
In 2027, she will take responsibility for Alamein’s youngest Academy age group, working with players at an important early stage in their football development.
For the club, her appointment is also another opportunity for a current Alamein player to begin developing as a coach and to share her experience with the next generation of girls entering the program.
Nedelkovski said she was looking forward to helping the U11s develop while ensuring enjoyment remained central to their football.
“I’m really excited to be coaching and helping these girls develop their skills, while also making sure they enjoy the game as much as possible.”
Recognised for her contribution to Alamein
Nedelkovski's appointment follows a 2026 season in which she was awarded the Stamatopoulos Shield, Alamein's whole-of-club award recognising a player who exemplifies the club's values of Passion, Unity and Integrity.
The award recognised not only her approach to her own football, but the way she contributes to those around her: bringing energy to her team, communicating with and supporting teammates, and consistently looking for opportunities to learn and improve.
Those qualities will now form part of the environment she creates for Alamein's U11 players as they begin their own football journeys.
Nedelkovski will take charge of the U11 Academy as Alamein prepares for the 2027 season.
