This is what we stand for

Our annual fundraiser night on 2 August 2025 was more than just a good time, it was a powerful reminder of who we are and why we exist.

At Alamein FC, we believe football is about more than what happens in a game. It’s also about community, development and opportunity. It’s about giving girls and women the space to grow, compete, lead, excel and thrive.

That’s what made our recent fundraiser night so special. It wasn’t just a chance to raise much-needed funds for our programs, it was a celebration of the people who make Alamein FC what it is.

We saw young players helping set up, senior players joining the games, parents cheering, siblings laughing, and local businesses donating generously. Across the room, there was laughter, conversation, generosity, and an overwhelming sense of family and belonging.

And thanks to our incredible community, we raised close to $7000 of vital funds to support player development, coaching resources, and equipment and facility upgrades. Every dollar raised goes back into the club, giving above and beyond to help us create more opportunities for girls who love the game.

To everyone who donated a prize, bought a ticket, came along on the night, or simply cheered us on: thank you.

Your support doesn’t just keep our club running, it helps build something bigger for our female players, both junior and senior, at all levels.

After all, these players are why we are all here. This is what we stand for.
