Celebrating two-star Club Changer recognition
Something special is happening at Alamein FC, and it has just been recognised at the national level. We’re proud to share that Alamein has officially achieved two-star status in Football Australia’s Club Changer program, which recognises clubs that go above and beyond to build safe, inclusive, and responsible football environments - especially for girls and women.
This isn’t just about ticking boxes, it’s about how we show up for each other, for our players, and for the future of football.
At Alamein, we’ve always believed that soccer is about more than the results of a game. Yes, we train hard, play hard, and set high standards for ourselves. But we also take care of each other. We actively encourage our players - even the youngest among them - to speak up. Through our Good Human policy, we aim to build character and community, not just skills. And this two-star recognition reflects that commitment at every level of our club.
From the youngest juniors through to our senior NPL teams, Alamein players are supported to grow, not only as footballers, but as people. That’s why we champion resilience and mental wellbeing. It’s why we prioritise coach education. And it’s why we lead initiatives to promote kindness, integrity, and leadership in girls and young women.
We’re proud of what these two stars say about who we are.
But more than anything, we’re proud of the people who made it possible: our coaches, players, parents and especially the volunteer-members of our committee who worked tirelessly to bring this to fruition. We’re taking this moment to pause and celebrate, but tomorrow, we’ll have three stars in our cross-hairs!
And if you’re new here - if you’re a family looking for the right club, or a player or coach wondering where you’ll be supported to go further - we’d love to welcome you. Come and see what it means to be part of a club that truly cares. Expressions of Interest for the 2026 season are open now.
